Correct eating habits are very essential during the examinations. As the breakfast is the most important meal of the day, make sure not to miss it. During the day, eat less and at regular intervals of 2- 4 hours. Taking frequent meals will keep you away from craving and hunger. Don’t take large meals as they will make you feel lethargic and sleepy. Preferably, opt for light meals or munching. Increase your iron intake and avoid fast food during examinations. Include fruits or juices in your diet. Smoothies can be a better option.
Drinking good amount of water keeps you going. Keep bottling ample amount of water (8 glasses a day) to your body so that it can tackle your heated brain. Caffeine such as tea and coffee should be kept to a minimum during the examinations to fight off fatigue. Increase the ratio of water, if you intake more caffeine.
Make sure to get enough sleep every night. Staying late for revising things won’t be a good idea as the body is already tired. Moreover, when you’ll feel tired, your mind will not be in a state to accept any other information. So sleep sound and wake up fresh to start again.
Take up some sort of exercise in order to relieve yourself from stress and also in improving the blood flow across the body resulting in more clear thinking. You can also go for dance or aerobic exercise or may simply go for a jog.
